Marco Rainelli, born in Domodossola, Italy on 7 April 1983, earned his diploma in Flute Performance at the Conservatorio Guido Cantelli in Novara at age 17 under the guidance of Stefano Gori. Contining his studies with internationally renowned flutists such as Davide Formisano, Michele Marasco, Bruno Cavallo, Andrea Oliva, Philippe Bernold and Patrick Gallois, he received a Second Level Academic Diploma at the Istituto Superiore di studi Musicali Vecchi-Tonelli in Modena with a score of 110/110 and honours. Financed by a grant from the Associazione per la Musica De Sono in Turin, he completed the two year postgraduate programme of Advanced Studies at the University of Music Freiburg in Germany as well as earning a Master of Arts in Music Performance at the Geneva HEM in Switzerland under Jacques Zoon.

He won first prize at the flute competitions Melzo Giovani in Melzo (Milan) and the Krakamp Flute Festival in Benevento, along with the Premio Brusoni in 2009 for a promising young flutist, a study grant awarded at the International Flute Competition “Severino Gazzelloni” in 2007 for the best performance of Luciano Berio’s Sequenza I, and other acknowledgements at prestigious national competitions including Nuovi Orizzonti in Arezzo, "D. Caravita" in Fusignano, Lario in Musica in Varenna and Giovani Musicisti in Perugia.

In 2003 and 2004, he took part in the two year course for orchestra musicians at the Accademia Teatro Alla Scala in Milan performing with the Academia Orchestra at venues throughout Italy and, in 2013, was invited to perform during the inaugural concert of the international Flutefestival in Freiburg im Breisgau. He has been principal flute with the Classical Concert Chamber Orchestra (USA) and the Orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan. He has also performed with the New Art Ensemble & Bruno Canino, the Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino, the Verbier Festival Orchestra, the Milano Festival Chamber Orchestra, the Insubria Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra Regionale Toscana, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma, the Accademia Europea, the Orchestra Sinfonica Giovanile del VCO, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Savona, the Orchestra Carlo Coccia di Novara, playing under the baton of conductors the likes of Daniel Harding, Charles Dutoit, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli, Roberto Paternostro, Philipp Von Steinaecker, Roberto Benzi and Christopher Franklin.

Marco Rainelli wurde 1983 in Domodossola (VB) Italien geboren, als 17jähriger hat er sein Konzertdiplom für Querflöte bei Stefano Gori im Conservatorio G. Cantelli in Novara erhalten.

Im Jahr 2004 hat er den Kurs für Musiker im Orchester bei der Musikhochschule des Teatro der Mailänder Scala besucht und danach folgten viele Konzerte mit diesem Orchester in Italien.

Danach weitere Ausbildungen mit verschiedenen weltweit berühmten Flötisten wie D. Formisano, M. Marasco, B. Cavallo, A. Oliva, P. Bernold, P. Gallois und im Jahr 2008 hat er ein Master „Mit Auszeichnung „Ergebnisse bei Istituto musicale pareggiato "Vecchi - Tonelli" von Modena erhalten.

Ausländische Ausbildungen: Im Jahr 2009 wurde er Stipendiat der Kunst - Vereins DeSono von Torino mit F. Renggli, Studium an der Musikhochschule in Freiburg. Es folgte der Musikabschluss in Advanced Studies mit J.Zoon bei Haute Ecole de Musique in Genf mit Hochschulabschluss von ‚Master en Interpretation Musicale‘.

er erhielt zahlreiche Erste Preise bei verschiedenen Musikwettbewerben: “MelzoGiovani” (Mailand) und “E. Krakamp” (Benevento),”Premio Brusoni” 2009 und Preis für die beste Deutung von Sequenz I von Luciano Berio (2007) und noch weitere Anerkennungen in anderen wichtigen Wettbewerben: "Nuovi Orizzonti" (Arezzo), "D. Caravita" (Fusignano), "Lario in Musica" (Varenna), "Giovani Musicisti" (Perugia).

Im Jahr 2013 hat er für das Eröffnungskonzert des Internationales Festival für Querflöte in Freiburg gespielt.

Der Musiker ist außerdem solistisch und kammermusikalisch tätig: mit Ester Snider (Cd: Duo Recital, 2013; cd: French Flute Favourites, 2018, Querflöte und Klavier); mit Roberto Olzer (Cd: Entr’acte, 2015) Querflöte und Klavier; mit Susanne Hahn Cellist und Pianist (duo Timeless Forest), mit Marco Cadario Organist; mit Marco Brusa (Cd: Gusto Latino, 2017) Querflöte und Gitarre; Trio mit Federica Zoppis Klavier, Andrea Pecelli Cello. 

Als Solist: Mozart Konzerte, Vivaldi Konzerte, C.P.E. Bach Konzerte, IV/ V Brandeburg und Suite h moll von Bach, Pergolesi, Quantz, Stamitz und Jolivet.

Als erste Querflöte spielte er mit: Orchester von “Pomeriggi Musicali”, Milano, mit Classic Concert Chamber Orchestra (USA), 'Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino, Milano Festival Chamber Orchestra, Insubria Chamber Orchestra, "New Art Ensemble mit Bruno Canino", Verbier Festival Orchestra, Orchestra Regionale Toscana, Sinfonica von Roma, Accademia Europea, Sinfonica Giovanile del VCO, Sinfonica di Savona, Orchestra Carlo Coccia von Novara, mit weltberühmten Dirigenten wie D. Harding, C. Dutoit, V. Ashkenazy, U. Benedetti Michelangeli, R. Paternostro, P. Von Steinaecker, R. Benzi, C. Franklin.

Seit 2007 unterrichtet der mehrfache Preisträger renommierter Wettbewerbe als Dozent an der Mittelschule mit musikalischen Bereich in Italien.

Im Jahr 2017 hat er den öffentlichen Wettbewerb ,um Dozent an der Musikhochschule zu werden, gewonnen.

Marco Rainelli, diplomatosi in flauto a 17 anni presso il conservatorio G. Cantelli di Novara sotto la guida del M° S. Gori, ha proseguito gli studi con flautisti di fama internazionale. Nel 2008 ha conseguito il diploma di II livello presso l'istituto musicale pareggiato "Vecchi - Tonelli" di Modena con la votazione di 110/110 e lode. Si è perfezionato all'estero, sostenuto economicamente da una borsa di studio dell'associazione artistico-musicale DeSono di Torino, con F. Renggli presso la Musik Hochschule di Friburgo (Germania) compiendo due anni in “Advanced Studies” e con J. Zoon presso l'Haute Ecole de Musique di Ginevra conseguendo il diploma “Master en Interprétation Musicale”.

Primo premio ai concorsi di flauto “MelzoGiovani” (Milano) ed “E. Krakamp” (Benevento), ”Premio Brusoni” 2009 e vincitore della Borsa di Studio intitolata a Severino Gazzelloni.

Già allievo dell’Accademia Chigiana di Siena, nel biennio 2003 – 2004 ha seguito il corso per professori d'orchestra presso l'Accademia del Teatro Alla Scala di Milano esibendosi in tutta Italia con l'orchestra.

Nel 2013 è stato invitato ad esibirsi durante il concerto inaugurale del Festival Internazionale del flauto a Friburgo.

Ha collaborato in qualità di primo flauto con l'orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, nelle tournèe europee della Classical Concert Chamber Orchestra (USA) e del New Art Ensemble con Bruno Canino. Ha lavorato con l'Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino, Verbier Festival Orchestra, Orchestra Regionale Toscana, Sinfonica di Roma, Accademia Europea esibendosi con direttori di fama tra cui Harding e Dutoit.

All'attività concertistica affianca l'insegnamento nelle scuole medie ad indirizzo musicale e in corsi di perfezionamento sia di strumento che di musica da camera. Nel 2017 è vincitore di concorso per l'insegnamento nei Licei Musicali.
